Session speakers

There are two options to adding speakers depending on whether these persons already have an HNPW (or Virtual OSOCC) account. The preferred option would be to add speakers that have an account because these persons will be included in the event speakers overview. 


1. Select "Speakers" from the left menu in the session registration form

2. Add the speaker

Option 1: Speakers who already have an account

  • Select New Speaker
  • Find the person using the search form
  • Select the person and click "Assign selected speakers"
  • If the photo or bio are not available or outdated, you can add these for thsis session using the "Edit phot" and "Edit bio" buttons respectively.
  • Select the speaker status to determine if the speaker should be included or marked as "tentative"
  • To change the order of uploaded speakers, change the order value and click "Update sort order"
  • To remove a speaker, select the red cross at the left and confirm.

Option 2: Speakers who do not have an account

  • Insert the speaker photo and add the bio in the text form.
  • TIP: Click on uploaded photos and select "float left" before adding the text.
  • Save the record. IMPORTANT: Always save your input before moving to another menu item
