The HNPW 2025 will be held in a hybrid format from 17 to 28 March (first week remote, second week in-person at the CICG in Geneva). Session registration is now open. Please see the HNPW Event Guide for session organizers for more information.
The HNPW is a unique humanitarian event that is held annually since 2015. It differs from other humanitarian conferences in that more than 60 humanitarian networks and partnerships create their programs for the event by scheduling meetings and setting up exhibition stands, to which they invite their stakeholders and speakers. Joint sessions are organized in the Areas of Common Concern and other cross-cutting themes to foster collaboration and information exchange. The participating networks and partnerships advocate and promote their engagement at the HNPW through social media, websites, mailing lists, etc., resulting in wider outreach in the humanitarian community, and the participation of thousands of humanitarian practitioners from United Nations Agencies, Funds and Programs, NGOs, the Red Cross and Red Crescent movement, networks and alliances, the military, governments, the private sector, media, academia, and others. Who can organize sessions and exhibition stands: Sessions and exhibition stands can be organized by Networks and partnerships that are registered with the HNPW (see tab "Networks and Partnerships" above). Submitted sessions must be approved by the respective network/partnership or AOCC focal point. Session submission for the HNPW 2025 is now open. Please refer to the HNPW Event Guide for session organizers for more information.
Who can participate: The HNPW is open to all persons interested in humanitarian work. Primary participants are persons who have received an invitation from humanitarian networks and partnerships. The invitations contain connection details for remote attendance and additional information of the sessions organized by the respective network or partnership. Other sessions of interest (for which no invitation has been received) can be found in the event program using the search filter. Connection details and additional information can be retrieved (online) upon login and registration for these sessions. Sessions marked as "private" are on invitation only. Participant registration is now open under tab "Event Program" above. Please refer to the HNPW Event Guide for participants for more information. |
