Session title: IFRC GO: From Seeing to Doing
25 Apr 23 14:00-15:30   (Espace telecom)

SessionAbstract

IFRC GO is a platform which enables the IFRC network to connect, analyse and share emergency response information from across the globe. The platform enables enhanced early warning, coordination and delivery of humanitarian assistance in support of the IFRC's 192 red cross and red crescent societies. The platform provides easy access emergency data, resources, and operational tools.

The session will follow how GO pulls together data throughout an emergency, from preparedness and anticipatory action planning, the use risk analysis, to channelling forecasts and early warnings, disseminating field assessments, triggering the release of funding and surge support, ongoing monitoring of needs and response, through to operational learning captured and feedback into the system at the end of an emergency.

By pooling the perspectives of users and collaborators from within and beyond the IFRC, this session will demonstrate how IFRC GO can help improve coordination, interoperability and humanitarian operational decision-making overall.
