Session title: The Risks of Asking Questions: Weighing benefits against harms when people share information in crisis
26 Apr 23 11:00-12:30   (Salle 3)

SessionAbstract

What protection risks people take when looking for information in humanitarian crisis situations? How do people weigh the risks against the benefits when sharing personal details with people they don't know? Or ask questions in a closed telegram channel? With strong involvement from Protection actors and in co-design with three pilot communities, Internews has been working to develop and improve tools to better understand protection risks related to information in humanitarian response.
