Session title: The new paradigm of IT solutions in the humanitarian sector
20 Apr 23 11:00-12:00

SessionAbstract

Humanitarian organizations need to be able to adapt quickly and react swiftly to rapidly evolving environments. They often face great challenges setting up tools and systems flexible enough to adapt to various projects, emergencies, countries, etc. In these systems, data needs to be collected, stored, analyzed, and exchanged dynamically and in real-time.

No-code application builders can hand back control over operations to humanitarian organisations. Humanitarian responders in the field can create their own solutions based on their current specific needs. Smaller organisations can generate systems that fit their needs without investing in complex IT development. The applications can take care of data collection, storage, analysis, visualisation and sharing without IT knowledge. Processes can automate repetitive tasks and data is no longer lost. In an ever-more digital world, dynamic digital tools are the stepping stone for successful operations.
