SessionAbstract

Join us for a dynamic round-table discussion on the transformative impact of Finland and Sweden joining NATO. We'll explore business cooperation in and around the defence and security industries, and how businesses can adapt, collaborate, and lead in the new geopolitical landscape. Engage with top experts, explore the ripple effects on various sectors, and learn how businesses can empower citizens and collectively enhance national and local capacities for crisis preparedness and security. This is your chance to be part of a crucial conversation and shape the future of security and resilience in the Nordics.

Key Questions:

  1. How are different stakeholder levels (state, industry, company, civilians) affected by the recent geopolitical shifts in terms of crisis preparedness and security, and how might it affect their roles and operations?
  2. How may national security policies be balanced with international alliance commitments?
  3. Are there particular industries that these shifts will impact, and if so, how? What are the potential gains, risks, and vulnerabilities for different sectors?
  4. What are the potential challenges related to trade and international cooperation?
  5. How might the NATO memberships affect collaboration between Finland and Sweden, especially in terms of business relations and new business opportunities?
