The conflict focusing on Gaza has led to considerable damage
to a built infrastructure and disruption of health, water, sanitation and
social services. While environmental conditions in Gaza had been challenging
for some time, the recent intense level of kinetic conflict is significantly
changing the humanitarian-environment nexus. The session will

how an environmental focus can support humanitarian objectives.
