If you fund humanitarian action and you're interested in learning from other funders about how to "Fund Well," then this is the session for you.

You'll not only learn some tangible practices you can apply with your own partners, but you'll also get to be part of a conversation about a sector-wide vision for funders to support each other to Fund Well.

Background

CHS Alliance and the International Council of Voluntary Agencies (ICVA) partnered to co-produce the “Funding Well” report.

It is the fourth of a series of reports, including “Working Well” (2020), “Leading Well” (2021), and “Governing Well” (2022).

The report suggests a step-by-step path for funders to harness their power to catalyse a future in which all crisis-affected people access principled, effective and accountable support.

It offers concepts, examples and tools for each of the steps to “fund well,” informed by innovations both inside and outside the humanitarian sector.

The study shines a light on what is currently working and offers a path forward.

To that end, the report suggests a 4-part, long-term change process that will get us closer, collectively, towards values-aligned, trust-based solidarity in the humanitarian sector.

You can read the report here: https://www.chsalliance.org/get-support/resource/funding-well/

Come join us in this interactive session, which aims to take the ideas expressed in this report to the next step in applying them in our community.
