Session title: “Listen to us”: affected people reimagining feedback
Organizer(s): Upinion & CDAC Network
7 May 24 14:00-15:30   (Salle Geneva)

SessionAbstract

Hosted by Upinion, this session facilitates a dialogue between crisis-affected people from Lebanon, Turkiye and Yemen who have first-hand experience of providing and collecting feedback for a multitude of aid actors, as well as practitioners in the sector.

Themes under discussion include: the effectiveness and accessibility of current feedback and complaints mechanisms, as well as how to give communities more agency with regard to feedback, complaints, and AAP practices in general.

The discussion will be steered by the priorities and agenda of aid-receiving communities themselves, who will join the session in real-time through a digital connection.

Join us for this opportunity to advocate for a reconsideration of current practices, encouraging a more community-centric approach in which collecting feedback becomes a process that is led by and benefits the community.
