SessionAbstract

This panel discussion will tap into the humanitarian supply chain sector's expertise on emission reduction trends across the humanitarian sector, considering the launch of the Call to Action from humanitarian logistics networks ‘A supply chain from the future’ in December 2023. Representatives from humanitarian networks and organizations will shed light on current challenges and initiatives to meet the commitments of the C2A, looking also into stakeholder engagement with the private sector, host governments, and the donor community and what challenges need to be addressed to overcome the challenges.

Panelists will highlight real-life examples from their organizations and collaboration across organizations to show progress but at the same time openly challenge other humanitarian organizations and representatives to join the Call to Action toward decarbonization by transparently addressing challenges toward collaboration.
