Session title: The influence of conflict on localisation
9 May 24 16:00-17:30   (Salle 16)

SessionAbstract

Join us for an interactive working session on localisation in conflict.

Is localisation important in armed conflict?

Does conflict influence reporting metrics?

Is localisation always the answer?

Despite a rise in global conflicts, humanitarian logistics and supply chain management research is largely focused on natural disaster settings. However, conflict settings can have a serious impact on performance. In this session we'll be looking at these questions and diving into real life conflict case studies to discuss what works and when.
