Organized by the Reference group on Inclusion of Persons with disabilities in Humanitarian Action (DRG)

The event will identify technical resources needed by humanitarian actors to implement the IASC Guidelines on Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities in Humanitarian Action. The event will present some of the resources developed by DRG, including online training
modules and initial findings from a mapping of good practices.

It will also involve an interactive discussion with participants on how to strengthen availability of technical expertise at field level.

Participants will have awareness of new tools and resources to support their work on
disability inclusive humanitarian action

Relevant actions will be identified to improve the availability of technical
capacity on disability inclusive humanitarian action from the start of an
emergency

Agenda

· Introduction (10 minutes)

· Welcome remarks and a brief overview of the session

· Introduction of the speakers and facilitator

· Presentation of current and upcoming DRG initiatives to strengthen capacity of humanitarian actors (15 minutes)
