Session Overview This session organized by OCHA ROWCA will focus on enhancing tools for monitoring flood impacts to strengthen preparedness and response strategies through collaboration among key stakeholders. This session will present a regional case study highlighting OCHA ROWCA’s flood impact monitoring platform, Climap.info, and explore how existing tools can be strengthened to improve real-time data collection and analysis. Through contributions from regional and national partners, the session will examine operational lessons learned, complementarities with early warning and disaster risk reduction platforms, and opportunities to enhance collaboration. The discussion will aim to identify practical recommendations to strengthen evidence-based flood preparedness and response strategies across the region.
