This session will explore how the EMT Initiative is engaging with the climate crisis and what it means for future preparedness and response. We will examine how high-level climate commitments shape expectations for surge operations. The discussion will highlight emerging approaches for integrating climate considerations into EMT practice, from climate-informed planning and risk analysis to more sustainable deployment models and greener operational choices.
