SessionAbstract

Session purpose

To share findings from the ACAPS TFGBV analysis on Yemen and Syria, focusing on the most prevalent forms of TFGBV, who is most vulnerable, and the underlying factors shaping vulnerability. The session will also examine cross country similarities and differences to better understand shared patterns and context specific dynamics.

Expected outcomes

Participants will gain a better understanding of how TFGBV manifests in Yemen and Syria, where risks overlap, and where responses need to be tailored. The discussion will surface practical implications for GBV and protection programming in protracted crises and allow participants to reflect on challenges and approaches from comparable contexts.

Target audience

This session is intended for analysts, protection and GBV practitioners, programme staff, and others working on or engaging with TFGBV analysis and response in protracted crisis settings.
