New approaches to conflict damage mapping and climate crisis impacts using remote sensing can be supporting humanitarian response and climate resilience. The Decentralized Damage Mapping Group (DDMG), a collective of academics, NGOs and humanitarian practicioners invites the humanitarian community to reflects on the data needs in (post) conflict damage analysis in order to work on improving data collection and rapid response. This session will have experts from PAX, HUmanitarian Openstreet Map, the Red Cross Climate Center and academics to share the latest insights and use this a starting point for an interactive technical session to see where gaps for data collection and analysis and how to improve collaboration.
