HNPW 2024 (29 April - 10 May 2024)

The HNPW 2024 will be held in a hybrid format from 29 April to 10 May 2024. The first week (29 April to 3 May) will be held remotely, the second week (6 to 10 May) will be organized face-to-face at the CICG in Geneva.

Please mark the dates in your calendar.

As in previous years, more than 60 humanitarian networks and partnerships will be invited to hold their meetings at the event and organize joint sessions in the nine Areas of Common Concern (AOCC) for inter-network collaboration. These are: 1) Accountability to Affected Population, 2) Anticipatory Action, 3) Climate Crisis, 4) Emergency Response in a Pandemic, 5) Inclusion, 6) Integrating Security Risk Management in Humanitarian Action, 7) Localization, 8) Nexus, and 9) Organizational Culture and Power Relations.

In addition, for the first time this year, sessions will be categorized by "Enablers" 1) Logistics and supply chai, 2) IM, data and data-quality, 3) Research and innovation, and 4) Training and Exercises.

Who can register sessions and exhibition stands:
Only the networks and partnerships that are members of the Leading-Edge Programme (LEP), the governing body of the HNPW, are invited to organize sessions and exhibition stands at the HNPW. Please see tab "Networks and Partnerships" above for an overview of registered networks and partnerships.

Who can participate in remote and face-to-face sessions:

  1. Invited persons: Invitations will be sent directly by the networks and partnerships to their members and stakeholders for the sessions they organize.

  2. Persons who did not receive an invitation: Most session will be open for public access, where also those without invitation can register to attend. Once participant registration is open, sessions can be found by keyword or organizing network/partnership in the online event program.

Participant registration is now open under tab "Event Program" above.

There is no attendance fee for participants, but participants in the face-to-face week have to cover their costs for travel and accommodation, and make their own hotel arrangements. Nominal invitations for visa support will be provided for speakers and panel members by the inviting network or partnership upon request. The HNPW secretariat does not provide travel support or nominal invitations to participants.
